An Inter Class Declamation was organized for the students of class VIII on the topic ‘Most Ground Breaking Advancements in Robotics’ at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh sponsored by Department of Science and Technology and Renewable Energy Chandigarh Administration. Students were well prepared and spoke eloquently on how Robotics has been influencing our lives at so many different levels be it in a homemaker’s kitchen to performing intricate life saving surgeries. Students came out with the latest advancements in the field of Robotics and the negative impact of the same on Human Race which was very impressive. Principal Ms. Monica Chawla shared some insights of her own experiences as a student of Science, stating how industrial robots were widely used in Manufacturing and how Military Organisations were being assisted at every point by robots. Students were judged on the context of Content, Expression And Presentation. The winners of the Competition were- Shreya Chawla (First) , Saksham (Second) , Umang (Third) and Vikrant (Consolation).
