STEM PROGRAMME INSPIRES ST JOSEPHS’ S STUDENTS
STEM programme was introduced in St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School Sector 44 D, Chandigarh from this academic session and the students are participating with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Stem education creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy and enables the next generation of innovators.
The main aim of the exposing the students to STEM was giving them opportunities to explore STEM related concepts and develop a passion for it so that they can deal better in real life situations.
STEM activities are providing hands on experience lessons in making maths and science both fun and interesting. It helps the students to do much more than just learn .Students showed great eagerness and anxiety to learn in doing many activities like the physical features of India through puzzle, math Roman numerals through dice using calculators to easen up the ways of problems, various science research based activities etc. In total it has been a very successful event with wonderful response from the students.
