In order to break the monotony of regular classroom teaching, 3C’s programme (Creatively Crafted Curriculum) was organized at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44- D, Chandigarh .

A week long 3C’S programme was designed to  brush up the basic concepts of the  students and warm them up for the new session. During  3C’S programme students experienced bookless teaching and were engaged in the process of learning through innovative and creative activities planned by the teachers in the form fun games,video presentations, interactive sessions, nature walk,interesting worksheets, puzzles and role play.The freedom of an activity based curriculum created an openness and spirit for experimentation in the classrooms wherein the students were highly elated as they were involved in numerous activities and were asked to look at basics of Mathematics, Languages, Social Studies and General Science from several perspectives, both creative and practical. The impressive feedbacks by the students bear the testimony that they thoroughly enjoyed the 3C’S Programme.

The school principal, Ms. Monica Chawla stated that through 3C’s Programme students got an opportunity to gain invaluable exposure, experience and practical knowledge. She further exhorted that” ultimate goal of education is to boost the development of the child’s brain” and “Creatively Crafted Curriculum” proved an extremely fruitful platform for filling the learning gaps and provided varied experiences to the students to facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills and values.
