With the advent of Summer vacations, the students of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School indulged into various innovative and exciting new models of Industrial Robotics under ‘Free Robotics Workshop’ of 10 days during ‘Summer Camp 2019’. Models like Introduction of Resistance, LED creating light with LED, Demonstrating a Digital input added to their excitement besides broadening their horizon of knowledge and skill.
Students learned how to generate electricity, meet the multimeter, blinking a light for first time, test a capacitor and Build a circuit that senses touch.
All students were engaged like “young engineers”. They also made various projects using Arduino and learnt coding. students learnt about creating a blinking LED wave, demonstrating a Digital input using program, piezobuzzer, creating a single digital display and controlling two 7 segment LED display modules. All these activities help students learn real world circuits and sensors which are actually used in industries and also with the help of coding they understood the importance and practical applications of Computer Science subject improving their problem solving and logical aptitude.Principal Ms. Monica Chawla appreciated the efforts of Ms. Priyanka (the trainer) and her team for providing this amazing experience to young Josephites who will be “The Creators of a Brighter and a Happier Tomorrow.”Such Gateways of Learning cater to a child’s inherit element of curiosity and creativity thus triggering their IQ and enhancing their skills.
