St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh, proudly celebrates a magnificent sporting achievement as its Under-19 Girls’ Table Tennis Team emerged Champion and clinched the coveted Gold Medal at the Inter-School State UT Tournament, held at Chandigarh Sports Complex, Sector 50, from 18 August 2026 to 28 August 2026.
Competing among 8 participating teams, the Josephite paddlers displayed an impressive blend of technical finesse, tactical intelligence, agility and mental composure throughout the tournament. Their sharp serves, swift returns and purposeful rallies reflected months of focused preparation and rigorous training. Even during demanding encounters, the team remained composed and determined, demonstrating the confidence required to perform at the highest level of school competition.
The road to the championship demanded more than individual brilliance. It called for synchronisation, trust, quick decision-making and collective resilience—qualities that the Josephite girls demonstrated remarkably well. Their ability to remain focused under pressure and convert crucial moments into opportunities ultimately propelled them to the top position among 8 strong teams.
