Poetry is to the heart what music is to the soul, was the motivation behind the Inter House English Recitation Competition held by the Primary- 1 block of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec School on 30.1.17
As we all know poem is meant for enjoyment. Beauty is the realm of poetry and the children enjoy the beauty of Expression, thought, feelings, rhyme, rhythm and music of world. The young upcoming talent of class 1 and 2 got wings to fly in this emotive world.
The tiny tots came up with a variety of topics like Save nature, Save girl child, Incredible country, Junk food, My teacher’s words, sickness, Good habits etc.
All the participants showed great zeal and enthusiasm and the judges had a tough time to decide the winners. The judgement was on the basis of presentation, content, clarity and props.
