An interdisciplinary exhibition- ‘The World of Ignited Imagination’ was organized by the students of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh in the school premises.
The Director, Mr. Rupinder Singh alongwith Ms. Lily Sebastian Principal Ms. Monica Chawla inaugurated the Exhibition. They were onerwhelmed by the hard work, dedication and talent exhibited by the young enthusiastic students. Under the guidance of their teachers, students made a stunning display of their innovative models based on various themes of mathematics, Science and Social Science like Virtual World, piezoelectricity, hologram, hydrophonics, like sensing robots, ISRO Rocket model, battery cycle, flood alarms, disaster management etc. The highlight of the Exhibition were the National Level Models of ‘Hovercraft’ and ‘Air Conditioned Bicycle’. The sole aim of organizing the exhibition was to inculcate scientific temper and encourage creativity among the students.
Parents were overwhelmed to see their students explaining their models, and the Principle behind their working so very confidently. Principal Ms. Monica Chawla said that organization of such events will not only help in stimulating creativity and inventiveness among the students but will also lay foundation for better understanding and greater interest for these subjects.
‘The World of Ignited Imagination’ was a grand success which was appreciated by one and all.
