‘Music gives a soul to the universe. Wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.’
A Music Exhibition was organized by the students of Primary-2 wing of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Director Mr. Rupinder Singh Grewal, Mrs. Grewal Principal Ma’am Ms. Monica Chawla and Ms. Lilly Sebastian. The students had put in a splendid effort in making models of various musical instruments like tablas, sitars, guitars, trumpets, pianos etc. the traditional and modern instruments and displayed in a spectacular way. It was a great treat to the eyes in viewing such creative display done by these young hands. The best part of the exhibition was that the students had brought out their creativity in using all kinds of recyclable wastes to make models of various instruments. The project files were greatly decorated had amazing information about various musical instruments. The students also had made a wonderful presentation on the computer loaded with history and rear facts related to music.
The main aim of the exhibition was to make the students aware of the different musical instruments, how they are played and their significance.
The students explained their models with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The Director Mr. Rupinder Singh Grewal, Mrs. Grewal, the Principal Ma’m Ms. Monica Chawla and Ms. Lilly Sebastian appreciated the great effort and hard work put up by the students and the music teachers of the school.
The exhibition ended with a take home message that’ Music can have a great impact in learning and relaxing the mind of the young learners.’
