A school of the stature and reputation of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh is not built in a day. It has taken all these years of dedication and single minded commitment by many, to create the distinctive aura and reputation that we all enjoy today and are so proud of.
Being a Josephian is special as this involves a special kind of responsibility. A responsibility to live up to the ideals and scared values that form the foundation of this institution.
Hence keeping its tradition, St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School celebrated its 37th Founder’s Day, event to commemorate its legacy and success with enthusiasm and exuberance.
The function began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the founder lady Ms. Harjinder Kaur followed by a warm welcome.
There was a lot of excitement among the students who were a part of this extravagant event. The esteemed member of the management Mr. Paramdeep Grewal expressed his gratitude towards the staff & proud to see school coming such a long way since its inception.
The energy and vigor was palpable by the choreographer, Mr. Tarun was the main attraction. The scintillating musical extravaganza by the josephian staff won every one’s heart.
On the auspicious day the Principal Ms. Monica Chawla made commitment to strive with undoubting spirit, courage of conviction for excellence for the enlistment of the St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School.
She reminded the students and staff of the humble beginning and the long distance the school has traversed. She further added-
“Yesterday is but a dream, tomorrow but a vision, but today well lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Founder Lady Ms. Harjinder Kaur was honoured with a memento on completion of 36 glorious years of this institute under her able guidance. The staff members who had served the institute for more than 25 years were felicitated for their dedicated services. They were Ms. Lily Sebastian as a founder pillar, Ms. Rani Pal, Ms. Priya, Ms. Paramjit, Mr. Mehar Singh and Mr. Manwar.
