Primary-2 wing of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School got off to a colourful start for their annual function ‘VIBRANT EXUBERANZA’ in the school premises today. The Founder Lady Smt. Harjinder Kaur, Director Mr. Rupinder Singh, Mr. Sukhdeep Singh, Ms. Simar Grewal and Mr. Paramdeep S. Grewal graced the occasion with their prestigious presence as special guests of the day. It commenced with a classical dance ‘Tarana’ in praise of God for bestowing the gift of life. To the audience’s surprise, Josephians of the Primary Wing hosted the show on their own by bringing out the best in them in the form of innocent words. A dance was performed on ‘Charlie Chaplin’ with the theme ‘Laughter is the best medicine’ made the audience go into peals of laughter. A dance ‘Spirit of Mahatma Gandhi’ moved the audience as ‘Rashtra Pita’ was seen as an embodiment of truth and sacrifice. A display of martial art enthralled the audience. St. Joseph’s musical ensemble ‘Namami Gange’ punctuated the morning with a captivating array of tunes depicting the message to keep the Ganges clean. Students presented ‘Hip- Hop’ and ‘Western Dance’ with exuberance and unmatched zeal and rhythm. ‘Sufi Song’ gave a silver lining for the improvement of Indo- Pak relations. It was a depiction of the rich radiant and vibrant culture. ‘A Warrior’s Hope’ depicted Mangal Pandey’s character as a symbol of valour. The ebullients of the school presented a message of team work through ‘Buzzing Bees Dance’. The items like ‘Devotional Fusion’ and ‘Shiv Thandavam’ took everyone closer to the Divine creator. ‘Nukkad Natak’ a satire conveyed the message of safety on the roads set“ the day rolling on. The most riveting performance which drew huge applause was ‘Zodiac Fashion Trend’ where little ones tapped on the stage energetically. The presentation on ‘Mother Teresa ‘conveyed the message of service and mankind. ‘Vibgyor’ depicting the seven colours of rainbow rejuvenated the ambience. The programme rode to a final crescendo with the finale of the show, the feet tapping enthusiastic folklore of Punjab ‘Bhangra’. The cultural bonanza presented the Primary II students enraptured each and everyone present there.
At the end Principal Mrs. Monica Chawla briefed the audience with the vision and achievements of the school & she also thanked everyone for their contribution in the journey of nurturing innocent heart & souls with love & care. She also expressed her gratitude towards teaches for dedicated efforts to make this show a success.
