Nandini a 12th class Josephite followed her passion on the same lines and emerged as a champion who bagged Gold Medal at 7th Nations Cup at Serbia, Sombor 09-15 January 2018 in Category “A” Women Boxing.
This infallible journey perpetuated her as a hallmark of joy and success. At St. Joseph’s playing for the glory of sports is the soul purpose of the students and the coaches; Nandini not only fulfilled this motive but also played with hope in her heart and dreams in her head. Motivated by her facilitators at St. Joseph’s she walked down the path to Mesto Place 1 in the 7th Nations Cup Serbia under Women’s Youth 81 Kg Category “A”.
She was presented with a red carpet welcome and flowers were showered on her benign presence in the school premises by the management, teachers, coaches and the students. Director Mr. Rupinder Singh Grewal and member of the management Mr. Paramdeep Singh was very pleased on seeing her set an example of “Mission Accomplished”. Mr. Bhagwant Singh, her coach, was also present to greet and bless her. Principal Mrs. Monica Chawla congratulated Nandini and her family for bagging laurel and distinction not only for herself but for the Nation. St. Joseph’s family was honoured by her commendable victory.
