St. Joseph’s organised a five –days “Summer Camp” for class 2nd to 5th in the school premises that exposed the technology enthusiasts to “Startup Environment”. The camp encompassed STEM & Robotics activities, fulfilled Sports and Self Defence Training for boys and girls.
The tinytots were engrossed in various activities like chasing, dodging, basic fitness components, basic locomotor skills, running, hopping, jumping and twists in a creative & collaborative environment. Activities like handball, football, tracking and field co-operative fitness games enhanced their fitness level, team work, neuro muscular, co-ordination and understanding level.
The STEM classes comprised physical tinkering with motors, cams, pulleys, marble run, circuits and making computer games with Logic using Scratch. Under Robotics club, children acquired knowledge of Robotics & 3D printing. They worked in groups to design their robots and program it thus displaying a wonderful team spirit. The instructors of these camps were highly experienced and skilled. Campers learnt a range of programming and designing concepts to create their own modern day robots. They learnt about the latest robotics technology being developed in Computer Science labs.
