Keeping this in view, St.Joseph’s Sen.Sec.School sec 44 D CHD. ‘s Raman House conducted various activities in Secondary Block under Anti – Drug Campaign on 31 May. Raising effective awareness about Tobacco and it’s menace was done through embellishment of class outer boards . Students put all their imagination into creative presentation and came up with virtually attractive and informative class room boards.A documentary film was shown to the students to make them aware of the ill – effects of Tobacco on health.Josephians of class IX staged a skit with the theme to spread awareness about ‘Anti – Drug Campaign’.Educators highlighted on the hazards and effects of consuming tobacco to the children.The school Principal Ms.Monica Chawla conveyed the message that students should abstain from all bad habits and she reminded them to help prevent their friends,parents,relatives and neighbours from consuming  tobacco products.She sensitized the students to be well-founded and prepared to fight to curb the tobacco use.
The class outer boards were judged by the Art Department and accordingly appreciated.Judges appreciated that the children spread awareness about Anti – Drug Campaign on the boards in a creative and polished manner which they did beyond expectation.
