With a view to propagate Fire Safety awareness among the students and public in general ,Elante Mall , Chandigarh organized an awareness drive on Fire and Safety. An Inter School Drawing Competition was conducted at Elante Mall on 20th September,18 to mark the Compliance Day. Communicating their talents through colours,91 young artists of St Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School ,Sector 44 D participated with great zeal and enhthusiasm. They displayed their vivid ideas regarding fire safety measures and brought marvellous achievements for school. Prabhnoor(XII) won the First Position where as Shivangi (X) and Pallavi(XI) bagged Second and Third Position respectively. Himanshu (VIII) was awarded with Consolation.It was indeed a very successful event as children proudly displayed their work and posed happily. It was a day where creativity is seen exploring in every piece of art.Since street plays are a great tool to propagate social messages in a humorous and sarcastic way and create awareness among the masses, a Nukkad Natak was also staged by Josephians on the theme of fire safety which attracted maximum crowd and was well applauded. Team members were also felicitated with prizes.Revered Principal of the school Ms Monica Chawla and worthy Director of the school Mr Rupinder Singh Grewal congratulated the students and motivated them to keep the flame of the enthusiasm burning.
