The Senior Secondary Block Josephities participated in the Photography and Caption Contest on at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School , Sec44D Chandigarh . The theme of the Contest was Swachta Abhiyan – the paradigm that is rising and shining by leaps and bounds under the dynamic leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The participants had submitted entries of their self clicked pictures and also added astounding captions to the pictures.The Photographs and their captions were very captivating. Captions like “ Habit” , “Serenity of nature is beautiful in its natural form”, “Chandigarh-The city Beautiful ;Where the air is pure, The roads that have no potholes, The looks that sooth my eyes, MY CITY, MY PRIDE!” etc.Some pictures and captions also presented contrasting images trying to do their bit in order to raise awareness and save the outlook of their Mother Nature.The First Position was shared by two teams – Palvi, Rishkiha of 11th Commerce and Aryan, Aniket of 11thCommerce.
the Second position was awarded to Himani and Ekasdeep of 11 th Commerce. Aditi and Agrima of class 11 Commerce bagged consolation prize for the same. Principal Madam Monica Chawla said it was indeed a wondrous step towards “ Clean India”and lauded the efforts of Josephities who are thinking globally and acting locally.
