It is not what is poured into a student that counts but what is planted”
Hindi is our national language. To make children aware and well-versed in Hindi and also to celebrate Hindi Diwas, a Shloka Uchharan Pratiyogita was held for the students of KG in St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44 D, Chandigarh. Shlokas that sometimes even elders find difficult to pronounce, were recited so well by the little kids of KG. The students presented the introductory part in Hindi, recited the shlokas and translated it in Hindi again to define its meaning to the audience. The judges were overwhelmed by the superb oratory skills of the kids. They awarded the best speakers with prizes and certificates and applauded all the participants for their efforts and putting up their best.
