On account of Children’s Day, St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh unveiled its Pandora of secrets by organizing Sports Day function in which the young Josephites of Middle Block participated with great fervor and zeal. The heart-warming welcome with the cartoon characters standing at the main entrance brought pleasant smiles on the faces of the children. The day was blended with the colours showcasing the students in colourful house dresses all geared up for the races organized for them. They were instilled with an urge to be at the best place and emerge victorious. Caterpillar race, Relay Race and Tug of War were organized in which the teams confronted against each other to strive hard to win.
Ranjit House emerged, victorious by winning most of the races followed by Tagore and Raman House.
The children who are regarded as the keys to paradise gathered beautiful memories in the diary of their thoughts. The movie titled ‘Emoji’ was shown to the students too. India got talent and talent hunt games were conducted by the teachers. The teachers blessed the children and made them aware of their rights to live their life with positive retaining their hope for future.
The school premises were adorned with balloon decoration by Primary 2. Mr. Sukhdeep Singh, Principal Ms. Monica Chawla and Ms. Lily Sebastian honoured the House winners and graced the occasion with their words of wisdom.
