School Educational trips do not just help the child in getting an exposure but also participate in engaging experiences. On the same lines, PEC University of Technology organized an Open House to nurture young minds in the field of engineering and technology.
Director- Dr. Dheeraj Sanghi spoke about the entire functioning in the field of engineering and working in various departments. The Head of CDGC, Mrs. Divya Bansal said the prime aim was apprising the students about the working of different departments , the innovations and projects displayed.
The Open House proved to be a guided tour to various departments in the college. The students were acquainted with the ground realities of engineering. Class XII students were also familiarized with details of various discipline in order to help them select the division that suits their capabilities and interests them the most.
The students were not only appraised about the history of PEC University but also eminent alumni’s, their lifestyle and careers. Ms.Kalpana Chawla, Mr. Jaspal Bhatti, Mr. Satish Kumar and Ms. Manya Sharma’s association with PEC was recalled. The college had displayed various projects undertaken by the students of the university like Supera 100 km/hr., Buggy, On Board Quadcopter, Ceramic Printer, Rendering Engine, R +ID Based Smart Card, Teleoperated gesture, Controlled Robitic Arm etc.
Josephites were in awe of the Board Quadcopter and others latest projects. They praised models related to Functioning of the EVM and also monitoring through Drones. On the whole, the educational trip was full of enthusiasm and learning. Class XII was motivated by the Principal Ms. Monica Chawla to not let one’s passion ever fade off but, always strive wholeheartedly and make their dreams come true.
