St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School proved their mettle once again as their efforts bore fruit in class X Board results. Achieving All India rank fourth, school topper, Amisha Kanwar, an all-rounder Josephian, a good debator, budding artist made the school proud by scoring 99.2%. She got 3rd position in Tri-City. Adding one more feather to its cap, 78 students did exceedingly well and scored 90% and above followed by 73 students with 80 % and above. There were 16 students who scored 100% in English. English subject has the highest number of students with 166 students scoring above 90% followed by Social Science and Mathematics and Hindi respectively.
Yasheel Sharma, who got second rank at International level in Social Science Olympiad excelled by scoring 97%. Shreya Chawla- the best orator, debater, classical dancer and a creative student rocked in academics by scoring 95.8%.
       Arnav Bhardwaj a dyslexic child found music and painting as his passion and overcame the challenges. He did not let any hurdle come in his way and made his school proud by getting 80.6%. He proved that dedication and determination lead to destination. He set an ideal example in front of the children with special needs. His efforts are really praise worthy.
Our Chess Masters, Gunreet Singh scored 93.4%, Jayant Sharma got 94.4% and Bijinderjit Singh scored 87%.These students got Bronze Medals at UT Interschool Tournament. Harnoor Kaur, a National Boxer scored 90.2%. Among other national players Aditya Agarwal (Choi Kwang Do) scored 94%, Sarthak Jaswal (Ball Badminton) got 91.8%, Vikrant Rai (Choi Kwang Do) scored 89.6%, Ramandeep Singh Sidhu (Choi Kwang Do) scored 88.8% and Vanee Mundial (Ball Badminton) scored 88.6%. Taekwondo’s bronze medalist Ishita scored 89.4%. Joseph’s state players Ashish Goud a silver medalist of Judo scored 87%, Karan Singla a bronze medalist of Taekwondo scored 86.6% whereas Jessica a silver medalist of yoga got 86.4%. Their leadership skills and dedication prompted them to excel in academics as well. They proved themselves by maintaining balance between sporting careers and academics achievements. The credit goes to the determined efforts of the students and experienced staff who left no stone unturned to make students achieve their goals.Management members Mr. Paramdeep S. Grewal, Mr. Sukhdeep Singh and Principal Ms. Monica Chawla praised the efforts of the children and wished them best of luck for their future ventures.The parents congratulated the school management and appreciated the mentors’ tireless efforts.
