Self introduction competition was organized for the little learners of Kindergarten section of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44 D, Chandigarh.  The objective of the competition was to develop their public speaking skills.  Introducing oneself to others is an art.  Exposure of this kind boosts the confidence of the children and helps them to be more social.  All the participants spoke enthusiastically on mike.  Their confidence level accelerated as they stood up on the stage and introduced themselves to the audience.  Other children were also motivated to perform like them.  Tiny tots’ emotional connect with their school and family came forth as they described about them.  They were fluent while giving the glimpses of their hobbies and the favourite things.

Besides developing social skills, this event proved that the little ones need only an opportunity, if given, they can do wonders.  The best speakers were awarded with certificates and prizes by the honorable judges.
