GRC or Grand Robotics Challenge is organized to enhance practical learning than theoretical learning by LEGO mindstorms and open source. Robotics intensify the practical skills of the students. St. Joseph’s students added one more feather to its cap by winning Grand Robotics Challenge held in City Emporium, Chandigarh. Varesh Goyal and Gurminder Singh of Class IXth won prizes in Best Robot strategy and Maze Solver Competition.
School Principal Ms. Monica Chawla congratulated the winners and said that schools should work hand in hand to produce a curriculum that confirms Robotics and STEM as they give the students an opportunity to innovate and explore.
Parents thanked the school management for inspiring the young minds by getting involved in robotics. The students are not only emerging as winners but also acquiring the programming mindset, concepts in applied mathematics/science, technology designing, judgement and decision making skills.
