A Pamphlet/Poster Making Competition was held in St. Joseph’s Sr.Sec School on 05.07.2019. The students were given the imperative topic of ‘Save Water, Save Earth. They partook in the competition with a lot of enthusiasm and fervor. This brought out the talents, imagination and beautiful thoughts of many young minds. Intriguingly, the students at this naive age, completely fathom that conservation of natural resources like water, forests, fauna, etc. is the need of the hour and absolutely imperative for the survival of our precious planet ‘Earth’. A rally of children was taken out headed by the activity incharge, in the school and in the neighbouring areas of Sector-44 D. The prizes were awarded to Amritleen Kaur VII A (Ist Position), Prachi VII E (2nd Position), Saumya VII D and Chahat VII A (3rd Position) for submitting the most original and different perceptions on the theme. Consolation prizes were bagged by Angel Sabarwal VIIA and Drishti VII A.
Principal Mrs. Monica Chawla inspired the Art and Craft team, and the staff members to run a week long Programme on Water Conservation. The school, under the able guidance and expertise of Mrs. Monica Chawla takes it upon itself to highlight the causes of various ecological issues through Green Campus Campaign and endeavors to save the precious natural resources and eventually our planet, our home ‘Earth’.
