Spell Bee is an activity wherein students learn new words and how to spell them. It’s a great way to generate interest in spelling and to motivate children to develop interest in the language. It not only helps in enhancing the vocabulary, but aids in developing students cognitive skills and boosts their confidence. To test our young students  knowledge and plant a healthy competitive spirit in them, an Inter Class Spell Bee Competition was held at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School amongst the students of Class – II. It had competitive rounds: Visual Round, Rapid Fire Round, Guess and Spell the word which had easy, moderate and difficult levels. The contestants were asked to spell the words taken from EVS, English Literature and day to day life.  The children competed in a good spirit and their happiness and excitement was quite visible in their eyes as they felt exultant after answering well. The winners were awarded certificates.
