SAVE RIVERS – THE NEED OF TODAY

ST. JOSEPH’S SR. SEC SCHOOL, SECTOR 44-D, CHANDIGARH in its endeavor to promote the social cause organized a special assembly on WORLD RIVERS DAY. It created awareness among the students regarding the condition of rivers in the present day
The programme included an inspiring talk on the importance of rivers, a poem, a group song highlighting the life giving role of rivers and the measures to be taken to conserve river water and to reduce pollution. The students also recognized the fact that if humans wish to survive on earth. It is important to work towards saving rivers and doing our bit to preserve mother earth.
