The Chandigarh Taekwondo Association organised a state level Taekwondo Competition for young Taekwondo enthusiasts from 28th November till 30th November 2019. The venue of this significant event evincing the Korean Self Defense art was The Sports Complex in Sector 56, Chandigarh. The students of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, sector 44-D, Chandigarh emerged jubilant and triumphant yet again as they won accolades and honour for their forte and earnest labour.
Nandini of class IX A won a gold medal for her outstanding performance and unbeatable spirit. Karan Singla of class XI C and Akhilesh of class X A secured the silver medals for themselves while Divya of XI medical and Abhinav of class X C acquired the bronze medal each.
The perseverance and diligence of the Taekwondo fighters also called ‘Jeja’ in Korean were appreciated and applauded by one and all present in the audience. Mr. Sukhdeep Singh, the Management and the Principal Congratulated and felicitated the winners for making the school proud of them. Kudos to the unstoppable team Joseph’s once again.
