Learn to shoot wildlife with cameras as this will save mankind. To celebrate the wildlife week with an aim to sensitize young minds about wildlife conservation, a competition was organized by the Department of Forest and Wildlife, Chandigarh Administration in the first week of October 2020. The students were assigned a task to make a short video film on the topic ‘Wildlife Conservation’. The department announced the results of the competition in which Avni Katoch of Class X of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec School, Sec 44 D, Chandigarh bagged the third place and made her school proud with her efforts.
Ms. Monica Chawla, Principal applauded her efforts and motivated others also to make the best use of these virtual platform opportunities. Under her guidance, the school also sensitized all the students about wildlife conservation through in-house talks and activities conveying a message of all creatures deserving a life of freedom.
