Recitation is one of the important and effective mode of learning a language and appreciating a piece of literature. Taking all these facts into consideration online English Recitation Competition was organised for Kindergarten students of St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector-44 Chandigarh. The little ones got an opportunity to hone their oratory skills and confidence. Children came up with different poems and recited them with great zeal and enthusiasm. They touched various topics like Go Corona, Mother Nature, Good Manners, Our Helpers etc and also they praised their teachers through their poetry. With the help of this activity children learnt new words and sentences and perfected their speech. This competition was a great success and was applauded and appreciated by the parents. The little ones were rewarded by e-certificates.
