‘Children are great imitators, so give them something great to imitate’
Going by this quote a ‘Fancy Dress Competition’ was organized for the kids of K.G. of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44 D, Chandigarh. The students selected the topics of their choice and enthusiastically participated in the competition. children brought forward wonderful topics like Coronavirus, Farm Law, Child Labour, Trees, Humanity, Pollution etc. through their characters, while some portrayed great personalities like Gautam Buddha and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Tiny tots dressed up as sanitizer, book, pencil, newspaper, plastic, milkman, doctor, policeman and so on, confidently elaborated the characters by highlighting their traits and importance in our lives. Everyone was amazed to see their flawless and wonderful performances.
The winners were adjudged on the basis of content, confidence and presentation. Principal Monica Chawla and Coordinator Shimmi Jassal applauded the efforts of the students and also that of the teachers who groomed them regularly in online classes and are helping them to brush their public speaking skills even during the Pandemic. Also they appreciated and thanked parents for the efforts and cooperation in helping to bring the best out of their children.
