JINGLE BELLS AT ST.JOSEPH’S

St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44 D Chandigarh celebrated its first virtual Christmas celebrations in a unique way with great fervor and enthusiasm. The boundless joy of celebrating this festival was quite evident on the faces of each child. Josephians had great fun in their respective classes. The pinnacle of talent was a treat to watch. The students decorated the Christmas tree with bells, streamers, stockings, stars and shining lights. In Kindergarten Block Coordinator Ms. Shimmi Jassal welcomed and apprised tiny tots about Jesus Christ and the significance of Christmas. The educators sang carols followed by a group dance performance. The story of the nativity was narrated to the students and they were motivated to become good and kind human beings.

The students of Primary –I were dressed in red and white and sang melodious carols. The teachers explained the significance of the festival to the students through the Christmas story and inspired them to help and support needy people and spread the feeling of joy & happiness.

It was amazing how melodiously the Primary II students sang Christmas carols, narrated stories about the birth of Baby Jesus. Some dressed as Santa delivering a message of peace and harmony around the world touched every ones’ heart.

Students tapped their feet and danced gracefully on the beat of Christmas songs. It was a great way to bring joy and happiness during these challenging times. The celebrations concluded with a promise from all Josephians to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, forgive the guilty, welcome the unwanted, care for the ill and love for your enemies.

The School Principal Ms. Monica Chawla congratulated the Josephians and appreciated the efforts of students and encouraged them to experience the power of sharing and helping others.
