Inspire Awards- MANAK

The students of St. Joseph’s Senior Secondary School once again made the school proud as four out of five innovative ideas in the field of Science were applauded and selected for the 1st Level of the Inspire Awards- MANAK.
Every year the Department of Science and Technology promotes innovation and creativity amongst the students across the country through its flagship programme – “The Inspire Awards- MANAK”. Under this scheme the school can nominate five best original innovations rooted in Science.
This year, the four industrious students who made it to the top of Level 1 are Ambreen Bakshi and Ria Singh Jadon of Class 6; Prisha Gautam and Saksham Singh of Class 10.The Principal, Ms. Monica Chawla congratulated the enterprising students for their ardent and tenacious efforts and for successfully qualifying for the 1st Level. The students were each awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 to give shape to their ideas through working models. The selections are made on the basis of novelty, environment friendliness and potential to address societal needs by bringing forth revolution in the field of Science and Technology for the betterment of the society at large.
