It is a moment of jubilation at St. Joseph’s Senior Secondary School as three out of five Science and Mathematics Models that were sent for the State Level Science and Mathematics Exhibition, organized by the SCERT cleared the Preliminary round and qualified for the finals.
The Exhibition is an annual feature of the State Council of Education with an ardent endeavor to identify and nurture the inventive and creative talent amongst students. The Council provides a genuine forum to the children to pursue their innate talents in the field of Science and Mathematics.
The students availed the opportunity to its fullest and brought forth the best in them, crafting unique and distinct models with the potential to spark interest and serve the humanity at large.
The three models that qualified for the final round are Ethnic Mosaic, HANDS and Maths Quiz, Square Machine and Mathematical Maize under the Historical Development, Health Hygiene and Mathematical Modeling themes respectively.
The next level will be conducted through a virtual platform wherein the children will share the working, objectives and applications of the innovative models.
The Principal, Ms. Monica Chawla congratulated the team for their diligent and conscientious efforts. She wished them luck for the Final Level and asked them to never give up their curious zeal.
