Strengthening security of Online Classes
The staff members of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec School were provided an opportunity by the school management to attend an enlightening session with Mr. Rajinder Singh Suhag, Crime Expert of Chandigarh Police online on May 07,2021. Mr. Suhag shared many eye-opening anecdotes to make the participants aware about the dangers posed by cybercrimes. His insights would be quite helpful in conducting the day to day online classes also. He threw light on many security features of the video-conferencing sites that would provide enhanced security and safety in conducting classes.
During the lively interactive session, he also provided a few useful tips to secure the data, and information while working online. The exponential increase in the use of online networks demands understanding of privacy and security issues. He touched upon these issues and provided working knowledge enabling participants to immediately solve their concerns in the areas.
He helped in creating a correct usage policy of social media and internet based applications that can be moulded by every individual to suit his/her requirements. Mr. Suhag also answered all the queries by the staff and left the participants with some very useful practical guidelines to make the online classes safer and secure.
The Principal Ms MonIca Chawla also witnessed the session. She extended vote of thanks to the esteemed guest for updating her staff with the most valuable information . The staff showed their gratitude towards the Principal and the Management of the school for such a practically useful session which definitely met the needs of the hour.
