Don’t Get Panic, Fight Back with Positivity
“Creating a healthy mindset is an investment in a person’s overall wellbeing.” Taking this positive thought in mind, Classes- VI, VII and VIII of Middle Block of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School organized webinars on ‘Physical and Mental Well Being of the Children during COVID Period’ and ‘Stress and Anxiety Management in Children’. Dr. Megha made the parents and students realize the importance of keeping the mindset healthy to stay away from negativity as it depends upon about how we take upon the things and situations.
Due to the Covid scenario, the students are compelled by the situation to stay back indoors which they have not been coping up and feel stressed and anxious to come out. The parents were guided about how they can create a safer and healthier environment at home which can lead to the healthy and stress free mind of the children. Dr. Megha talked about many stress buster indoor games that can be played not only by children but by parents also which will prove blissful in strengthening their bond. Many exercises and yoga postures were also discussed about to shoo away anxiety and lead a day filled with stress free thoughts. The sessions were followed by the queries of the parents and students to help them understand their specific stress triggers and the solutions.
This fruitful session was followed by the priceless words of the Principal, Ms. Monika Chawla, encouraging the parents, students and teachers to stay positive, strong and stress free to fight back the COVID situations. All the students and parents were highly motived by the webinar and left with a positivity in their mind.
