Honour for spreading Positivity for St Joseph’s Sr Sec School

Yuvsatta in collaboration with CCPCR organised UN International day of families by announcing Inter-school contests in the areas of Poster making, Story and Poem writing, Creating videos and Comic strips for the students of Chandigarh schools. The theme of the contest was ‘Life in COVID Times’.
Along with this a Peace prize for schools was also announced wherein the schools were required to showcase the ‘Power of Positivity’ through activities done during the pandemic supported by feedbacks and reflections of teachers and students.
St Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School proudly added a feather in its cap when the school was conferred with the Peace Prize. In the comic strip making activity Tanish won the second position in senor category and Aarush won the third position for the school.
The school showcased many positivity spreading activities that included maintaining contact with family and friends, having empathy and doing charity, writing letters and stories and helping those who are in need due to these unprecedented times.
The Principal of the school Ms Monica Chawla received the award from Mrs Harjinder Kaur chairperson CCPCR and Mr Debendra Dalai .They appreciated the work done by the staff and the students by maintaining a positive attitude. The management members Mr Sukhdeep Grewal and Mr Paramdeep Grewal praised the efforts and encouraged all the participants to keep the good work going as the strength of one’s achievement is rooted in the depth of his passion.
