Keeping this beautiful thought in the mind, students of Kindergarten and Primary 1 Block of ST. JOSEPH’S SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL, CHANDIGARH celebrated Eid al-Adha with full zest and enthusiasms. The celebration was aimed at sensitizing the students towards living in harmony in a diverse society.

 An array of online activities like Poem recitation, Songs, Dance, Craft for decorations and beautiful prayer book artistically made enhanced their imagination and creativity which developed a sense of appreciation towards the culture and history behind the celebration of Eid. Students were briefed about the significance of the festival through Slide share and video.

Teachers also enlightened students with a talk to inculcate the universal values of brotherhood, tolerance, peace, compassion and solidarity in children. They were encouraged to use their thinking ability and skills to work for a safe and better world and to live in harmony with fellow beings.

It was indeed a rich learning experience for the students to imbibe knowledge about cultural heritage of the nation. School Coordinator wished “Eid Mubarak” and urged students to follow the path of love, peace and friendship.
