To ensure the physical and mental well being of children parent webinars are designed to help the parents in their parenting journey by offering research-supported child health and safety information and useable tips and suggestions. In that series, another informative and interactive session was conducted on 10th July,21 for parents of Class Vlll (Middle Block) to mark the’ World Hepatitis Day’ to explore key issues in global hepatits.
WHD is a day for the world’s hepatitis community to unite and make their voices heard. It’s a day to celebrate the progress they have made and to meet the current challenges. It’s also an opportunity for us to increase awareness and encourage a real behavioural change to jointly facilitate prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
The resource person Dr. Megha shared her valuable thoughts on how to find the missing millions and accelerate action to eliminate hepatitis by 2030.The purpose was to raise awareness of the global burden of viral hepatitis and to influence real change. The program sensitized parents to the rise of lifestyle diseases, specially hepatitis. Common causes for such diseases and methods to tackle the same were taken up for discussion.
The revered Principal Ms Monica Chawla asserted that at the end of the day the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents.. She further added that with the united effort a hepatitis free future is achievable.
The webinar concluded with a very animated interactive session of the audience with the distinguished speaker.
