Educonclave-2021- An Enriching Learning Experience
“Kids prosper best with a broad curriculum that celebrates their various talents, not just a small range of them.”
St. Joseph’s Senior Secondary School has always been a strong advocator of sustainable development and continuously endeavours to instill in the students the sense of responsibility and onus towards creating sustainable environment. Learning has never been confined to the four walls and restricted by defined curriculum at St. Joseph’s. It has always been exploring, analyzing and deducing. Year after year, extensive programmes are curated and conducted to give children the opportunity to think out-of-the-box and in a fun-filled way to acquire the needed skills of 21st century. The entire year is marked with innovative and euphoric activities to stimulate creativity and interest. The 3C Programme, The Bridge Course and the Summer Camp are some of the ingenious endeavours undertaken by the school.
This year the school touched yet another milestone with the successful conduction of Educonclave, 2021, wherein the students showcased their knowledge and creativity and the teachers acted as facilitators. Educonclave, 2021 aimed at enlightening students about the current energy crisis that engulfs the entire world and India at large.
The children of the Middle Block and the Primary Block of St. Joseph participated in an array of integrated activities which were an amalgamation of verve, camaraderie, creativity and passion. The children carried out extensive research and shared the cause, extent and viable solutions to curb the current problem of energy crunch, by bringing small changes in our day-to-day activities. Be it role-play, poster making, bookmark making, analyzing graphs or pie charts or article writing or slogan writing, the efforts of the children were commendable. The teachers of the Primary Block conducted quizzes and riddles and added an element of fun while sharing knowledge with the students. Together the students took the pledge to do their bit to conserve energy.
The Principal Monica Chawla shared with the students that she felt overwhelmed by the earnest efforts of the students and congratulated them for their enthusiastic involvement and performances.
