 Engaging children in Physical Activities’ & ‘Food Safety

As Physical Inactivity is a serious problem in many countries so to curb the increase in this trend and to impart awareness about the safety standards of food, St. Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector – 44 – D, Chandigarh had organized the webinar on“Engaging children in physical activities” and “Food Safety” virtually for the parents of Class 1 & 2 children by the teachers of Primary -1 Block.
The emphasis was on the importance of Physical Activities for the Children, recommended physical activity for the children, Motivation for physical activities at home, Television can be used to promote physical activities and impact of Physical Activities on children.
On the other hand, Awareness on the Food Safety standards were shared. Also, how we should take into consideration about the adulterated food and the fresh food. The session concluded in a benefitting and informative experience, where the parents had multiple key takeaways to follow.
Parents of Primary -1 Block really appreciated this initiative taken by the teachers and the school management. Coordinator, Ms. Shelza Arora also emphasized upon the importance of physical fitness in everyone’s life.
