Sports are an essential part of our life. It teaches us how to stay strong and healthy, and tests our physical abilities. In the same time, physical exercises bring a bunch of great benefits for participants. All kinds of sports can bring strong physical health, great team abilities, and strong organizational features. The psychological and physical advantages obtained within sports activities result in enriched physical stamina and improved reflexes.
Cognizant to above, students of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Chandigarh, maintaining the legacy participated in State Roller Skating Competition, 2021-22, in Inline Hockey, from 29th October to 31st October, and won accolades for the institution. The winners bringing laurels were, Parth with 1 Bronze, Yatin 1 Bronze, Vedant 1 Bronze and Mohak Dang 1 Bronze, under 14. Abhiyudya won 1 Bronze and Smriti 1 Bronze in Sqad Hockey under 17 category. Vivaan Dang won 1 Bronze under 11. For speed, Lavya won 2 Silver medals under 11 category and Samaira has won 3 Gold under 9 category.
Principal, Monica Chawla, applauded the students for their unwavering efforts and success in the event. She motivated the students to always keep their spirits high and keep their preparation on for upcoming events.
