To honor the Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of India, (Primary II) and (Middle Block) of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector-44D, Chandigarh celebrated the Indian Armed Forces Flag day by organizing Declamation and Poem recitation competition for the students of class V and VI.

Students enthusiastically participated in the event. They recited patriotic poems and paid tribute to the brave heroes of our nation by delivering heartfelt words for them.

Teachers sensitized the students towards the sacrifices of soldiers and their families. Teachers also shared stories of some brave unsung heroes which induced the patriotic zeal among the students.

It was delightful to hear words of appreciation for the Soldiers.

The purpose of organizing the event was fulfilled as the students could be seen in “High Josh” and appreciated the sacrifices of the Army men.
