Josephites expressing their gratitude for Indian Soldiers on 74th Army day
“Either I will come back after hoisting the Tricolor, or I will come back wrapped in it. But I’ll be back for sure.” This is the spirit of every soldier when he goes to secure the borders of our country or have to face the enemies. We don’t need a special day to remember our true patriotic heros; but to honour this valour and to remember the historic achievement of January 15, St Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Chandigarh celebrated the Army day with a great enthusiasm online due to the third wave of the global pandemic of COVID-19.
Everyone should prioritize service to the mother land. To imbibe this message of patriotism among students, Josephites had some eloquent speeches and poetry recitation to sing highly of soldiers’ valour. Expressing profound gratitude towards the Indian Army, their services and contributions were highlighted with great fervour and pride.
Different video clippings related to the life of the Indian Army were shown to the students. Some students made videos to remember and spread the message ‘Let’s celebrate our Army by saluting our soldiers for their bravery and patriotism. Teachers also explained the heroic efforts of the Indian Army in the form of stories. The Principal Ms. Monica Chawla appreciated the efforts of students and teachers and expressed her reverence to the Indian Army by wishing everyone ‘A Happy Army day’!
