Josephian’s CCT Practices echo in SCERT Gujarat
St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh was among the privileged few institutions of the Tricity to be chosen by the SCERT as a school that has initiated innovative and out of the box endeavours for imparting CCT Skills among young Josephites.
A special team from SCERT Gujarat along with the SCERT from Chandigarh visited the school to gauge the interventions taken regarding CCT implementation and was completely enamoured by the exemplary exhibition of the work accomplished by the students.
The magnificent display had toys ranging from Mathematical Ludo, Square Root Board games to Scientific games like Springs and Drains, Innovative Teaching Aids, Newspaper Games/Activities, Experiential Learning Models, Art Integrated Projects to Files documenting all the Records of the CCT Resource material prepared by the school teachers as well as Questionnaires prepared on relevant topics. Also taking pride in place was the Science Model selected by the SCERT which garnered a lot of attention and discussions were held with SCERT regarding how to integrate CCT into curriculum.
Principal Ms. Monica Chawla thanked SCERT Chandigarh for keeping St. Joseph’s in their good books and enabling integration and collaboration with SCERT Gujarat team. She was deeply touched by all the praise and acknowledgment and gave the entire credit to her team and the visionary management.
