 Mothers are an inseparable part of our lives and to appreciate their efforts students of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sec 44 D Chandigarh celebrated Mother’s Day with full zeal and enthusiasm.

Mothers were warmly welcomed with beautifully crafted tokens of love. The school wore a festive look to mark the celebration. Students of various blocks rejoiced while making beautiful takeaways for their moms like cups, aprons, crafted unique and creative artifacts for display and gifting, jewellery, tiaras, jukeboxes, photo frames, and even small handbags that carried lovely messages for their mothers.

Many interesting games were conducted to entertain moms who rarely take out time for themselves and always remain busy fulfilling the wishes of their little ones. The beautifully designed hand and feet imprints of the tiny tots were cherished by mothers as the treasure of their lives.

The school management praised teachers’ efforts to imbibe rich values amongst students. The school Principal Ms. Monica Chawla was amazed by the students’ work. Quoting Elder M. Russell Ballard, she said “There is no role in life that is more essential than that of motherhood.” She thanked mothers for taking out time from their busy schedules and appreciated students’ and teachers’ efforts in making the day a great success.
