World Technology Day
National Technology Day is much more than the anniversary of a historical event. This day represents a pathway to the future. On this day we celebrate the achievements of some of our best scientists and innovators, and their achievements in shaping technology into usable commercial products and processes that forever changed the lives of people.
Keeping in mind the importance of this day, students of Primary -2 Block of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School enthusiastically participated in various activities to mark the celebration of ‘National Technology Day’.
The multitude of activities was conducted successfully and saw enthusiastic participation from students. Students created vibrant posters, made interactive PowerPoint presentations and wrote thoughtful articles on the topic ‘Women in Science’ and ‘Importance of Technology in Daily Life of People’.
Speaking on the occasion, the school principal appreciated the efforts of the students and stated that this day is celebrated to spread awareness regarding the significance of technology in our lives and how young children can make a difference by entering this field of study.
