TEJPARTAP OF ST. JOSEPH’S BRINGS LAURELS WITH WINNING STREAK AT KHELO INDIA YOUTH GAMES
A truly proud moment for Tej Pratap Singh Jassar, a student of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44 when he added another feather to his cap, by winning in the Gatka event at the prestigious Khelo India Youth Games 2021. Tej Partap won a Silver medal in the team event, a glorious victory for any sports enthusiast. To add to this glory was his second medal ,which was a Bronze in the Individual category. The distinction earned, would make any player hold his head in immense pride.
The Khelo India Youth Games is the flagship event of the Indian Government’s Khelo India Initiative, designed to promote sports at the grass root levels in the country. This year, 36 States and Union Territories are participating at the event for the very first time. A matter of great honour for any player to be a participant in this esteemed event.
Tejpartap Singh Jassar is a class X student. It is with his dedicated and persistent efforts, that he was able to achieve this extraordinary feat. An elated Tej Partap spoke of the value of stamina, strength, skill and spirit during his training sessions that helped him achieve this spectacular success.
The Principal Ms. Monica Chawla was appreciative of the remarkable performance of Tej Pratap and wished him many such successes in his sporting journey. The members of the Management were all praise for this stupendous achievement and congratulated this outstanding sportsman for his remarkable accomplishment.
