St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School celebrated World Environment Day to enable students think about cleaning & conserving the environment.
The environment is where we all meet; where all have a mutual interest, it is the one thing all of us share.”
Keeping this thought in mind Primary-1 block of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School celebrated World Environment Day. Teachers explained extinction of species hampering earth’s biodiversity to students through PPT and various videos. Students of class 1 and 2 participated in slogan writing, poster making, one minute talk, poetry in English as well as in Hindi with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students were made sensitize towards nature.
They were told to hug trees showing empathy for them. They made bird feeders. Main purpose of such activities was to enable them to think about cleaning and conserving the environment. Pledging for a cleaner, safer, sustainable planet, this day brings the focus on living in harmony with nature and addressing various challenges our earth faces.
