World Paper Bag Day observed at St. Joseph’s Chandigarh
Life Skills is now equally important in education as literacy. Single-use plastic is a ticking time bomb for the environment.
With this objective in mind, to Stop Using Single Use Plastic, our learners of Primary-1 of St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School Celebrated World Paper Bag Day by making paper bags reusing old newspapers and showcased their creativity & artistic skills by decorating it . It is a day to spread awareness for not to use plastic bags and high time to discard them completely.
Little Josephites made attractive paper bags and decorate them vibrantly with stickers and other decoration material. The craft activity was not only fun and engaging for the learners but they were also excited to use their bags at home in their day to day lives. The Fun Filled activity also inspired children to contribute your bit to the environment and STOP bagging the planet.
As a true advocate of the environment, Our Coordinator, Ms. Shelza Arora also lettered with pride to adapt the 3R approach in everyday life and collectively strive for a cleaner and greener nature for the posterity.
