Language and culture of any country play an important role in making people, to connect with other people and help in making a strong nation. Hindi is a language of love, togetherness and brotherhood. Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on 14 September with great pride and vigor as Hindi has been adopted as the official language of our nation.

Kindergarten block at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec School Sector 44 D Chandigarh organized a Hindi Recitation Competition for the students of KG. The students took part whole heartedly. They highlighted the significance of the language and various other topics like save trees, save water, value of time, girl child, brave soldiers etc. They made different types of props to express their emotions and thoughts. The best ones were awarded with certificates and all the participants were appreciated for their efforts and energetic performances.
