Cleanliness is next to Godliness
Community service is the greatest deep performance for any human for another human. As India celebrates cleanup day every year, it is also imperative to spread ideologies among the students for creating a prosperous nation. Aligning with the same thought, the students of classes 1 and 2 from St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School participated in cleaning activities and raise awareness about ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’.
Students used their hand-made dustbins instead of plastic ones. The main purpose of this program was to create awareness among the students regarding Cleanliness and its benefits. Teaching children to pick up trash and clean their classrooms at school will teach them to develop a friendlier spirit, not only in school but also in other aspects of their lives as well. This practice helps the students to the basis of responsibility teaching them to pay respect to what they’re granted, as this will grow into maturity, the students will understand the meaning of life and gradually learn to respect out of love.
Furthermore, this activity leads to collaborative learning which in turn hone their psychomotor skills.
