Special “Har Ghar Tiranga” Assembly Held at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec School
“We hold our heads high, despite the price we have paid, because freedom is priceless.”
The students of the Secondary Block at St. Joseph’s Sr. Sec School organised a special “Har Ghar Tiranga” assembly under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence with vigour and zeal. The assembly was conducted to pay special respect to the Tricolour as well as the courageous freedom fighters who had sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country and pioneers who achieved success in their fields and contributed to the development of the country.
Those who contributed to getting our independence believed liberty to be the secret of happiness and courage to be the secret of liberty. The students reminisced the gift of freedom bestowed upon their generation through their self-composed poems and speeches. Unknown facts about the Tricolour and the right disposal of the Tricolour garnered the biggest accolade. The leaders of tomorrow accept that the history of India is full of pioneers, who have worked hard for their rights and made progress in politics, arts, science, law, etc. Hence, the sanctity of Tiranga and freedom must be maintained and honoured by everyone.
The special assembly was a great success and was appreciated by the members of the management as well as the school Principal, Ms. Monica Chawla. She motivated the Gen Z to maintain the paramountcy of the tricolour by quoting the famous couplets “Freedom in mind, Faith in the words, Pride in our souls. Let’s salute the nation…. on this auspicious day”.
